Granddad Bluff Restoration
Granddad Bluff, LaCrosse
From 2010-2012 SetterTech, LLC worked as a subcontractor for Paragon Associates on the Grandad Bluff Restoration Project. The restoration consisted of restoring the main building structures on the property as well as stabilizing and restoring the bluff itself. SetterTech’s role in the project was to develop the land restoration and erosion control plans for woodland, steep slope and parklands upon the bluff. Restoration plans included the use of native vegetation, erosion control products and appropriate implementation timelines and processes. All planning processes required comprehensive awareness to construction processes, native soils, invasive species control and appropriate native species selections suitable for parkland settings as well as erosion control properties and habitat contributions.
This project won national and state public works awards including the National American Public Works Association ‘Project of the Year’ listing.
