SetterTech, LLC is a multi-disciplinary consulting team offering a broad range of services including stormwater management, erosion control, natural sciences, land restoration, land restoration planning and permitting. SetterTech has built a team of consultants within the disciplines of plant science, wetland delineation, engineering, surveying, GIS, hydrology and soil science to provide its clients with complete project service at very competitive rates. SetterTech provides services to a wide breadth of clients including but not limited to: Urban Municipalities, Rural Municipalities, County Government, Developers, Public Agencies, Private Landowners, Agricultural Producers, and Contractors. SetterTech, LLC was established in 2010 by Jay Settersten who had been working in the natural resources / natural science arena for 20 years prior. Since the inception of SetterTech, Jay Settersten has surrounded himself with a team of very experienced and well respected consultants and contractors, providing SetterTech a wealth of experience; some projects accumulating over 100 years of experience. SetterTech and its consultants have been involved in numerous environmental projects throughout the upper Midwest, mainly Wisconsin. These projects include comprehensive land management plans, land restoration, project management at many levels, stormwater facility inspection and failure investigations, training of public agency staff in the world of native species-shoreland mitigation-invasive species control, comprehensive stormwater management planning, waterway permitting, wetland delineations, woodland restoration, Natural Resource Protection Plans (NRPP), Endangered and Threatened Species Surveys, Environmental Assessments (EA), Environmental Impact Reports and Statements (EIR/EIS), Lake and River Classification, lake and stream study, water quality data collection and analysis, and grant applications.
